▶Objectives
We want to foster inclusion, civic engagement and create new learning spaces, using existing solidarity networks that create social cohesion between shops, venues and citizens affected or not by homelessness and poverty. By supporting nonprofits to develop similar networks all over Europe, transforming shops and venues into inclusive spaces through training and support, and creating awareness-raising materials to engage all citizens in fighting social exclusion, using spaces from these networks.
▶Activities
We will assess and improve our methodologies for facilitating a solidarity network, improving inclusive tools, impact assessment, and staff training, benefiting from cross-border exchanges. After testing and adjusting the methodologies based on stakeholder feedback, we will share the final methodology with nonprofits locally and across Europe. Focus groups with marginalized people will help create relevant awareness materials for network venues, and organize events to foster social cohesion.
▶Impact
This project will result in a multilingual practical toolkit for nonprofits to carry solidarity networks. We will train shopkeepers and venue staff, creating more inclusive spaces. We will create modular awareness-raising materials co-created with people with lived experience of exclusion.Through exhibitions and events, we will engage citizens in discussions on social exclusion. The materials will be widely disseminated, ensuring long-term impact and sustainable tools to foster inclusiveness.
