General objectives: GO1: Create a community of peer-to-peer learning and support for pastoralists, cheesemakers and their networks. GO2: Develop the partners’ capacities for shaping innovative learning spaces for pastoralists and cheesemakers. GO3: Build educational pathways into economically and socially sustainable pastoralist activities for the youth. GO4: Contribute to the reputation of pastoralism in the public by emphasizing its role in food security in the context of climate change

The project includes training activities to increase the knowledge of pastoralists, shepherds, breeders, cheese makers and facilitators on heritage and agroecological practices in agrosilvopastoralism, value chain, territorial markets, and the use of social media for marketing. The activities will also result in a digital learning space with training, self-assessment and exchange tools, as well as an international community for peer-to-peer learning, experience sharing and support.

• A digital Learning Hub with self-assessment and training tools, technical specifications, reference documents and communication platforms • Transfer of know-how among transhumants, pastoralists and cheesemakers across the project area, during and after the project • Increased visibility of pastoralism and increased awareness of the key role it can play in the adaptation to and mitigation of climate change • Multiplier effects of applying the training tools in local and regional context.
