▶Objectives
The ENERGiES project aims to increase the attractiveness of doctoral studies in sustainable entrepreneurship and managerial innovation, by building a coherent research training program, ranging from an awareness-raising phase at the M1 level to supporting doctoral students. It will initiate students to research at the M1 level, then prepare those who wish to apply for a PhD (M2 level), and finally assist PhD students to conduct their research in a context of collaboration at the European level.
▶Activities
This research-training program will be based on the creation of a coherent set of training modules that can be adapted and shared among the partner HEIs. These modules will be implemented in the existing degree programs of each HEI, for example as an optional teaching unit. Beyond the implementation of shared courses, this program includes university-to-university exchanges, such as a pre-doctoral spring school, international research internships, or co-supervision.
▶Impact
This project will (i) introduce master’s students to research (in sustainable entrepreneurship and management) (ii) teach them key skills through the practice of academic research, (iii) attract a significant number towards doctoral studies, (iv) help them succeed in their PhD application and funding, (V) develop a network of collaboration between European HEI in a graduate program perspective. Finally, the extension will be accomplished for all interested European HEIs by the end of the project
