▶Objectives
The aim of INTERACT is to improve care for vulnerable older people, to better meet their needs and also to improve the experience of their relatives. INTERACT will enable professionals to improve their own experience of care, improve the quality of relationships during care with the vulnerable older people and their relatives, better integrate the digital health dimension into care and prevent the risk of professional burnout.
▶Activities
We will carry out joint training activities to improve the quality of care. Three complementary training courses will be created to (1) improve the ability of future professionals to relate to vulnerable older people in care (intercultural issues), (2) promote the beneficial effects of digital health in care, (3) reduce the risk of burnout at work and promote the resilience of future professionals (self-management).
▶Impact
For each of the three courses (interculturality, digital health, self-management), two results will be produced: (1) a 10-hour online certifying MOOC for trainers, with a final certifying assessment; (2) a 20-hour teaching unit for students, to be used by certified trainers. In addition, we will produce innovative teaching materials: a school of interculturality, a serious game (interculturality), an online platform (self-management).
