โถObjectives
The IDT4EU project aims to modernise higher education by integrating Immersive Digital Twins (IDTs) into teaching, addressing digital skills gaps and enhancing industry-aligned learning. It equips educators with innovative tools, improves student engagement, and establishes a European framework for IDT adoption, supporting Erasmus+ priorities of innovative teaching and interconnected higher education systems.
โถActivities
The IDT4EU project will implement activities across three WPs. WP1 ensures coordination, risk management. WP2 develops IDT pedagogical frameworks, technical guidelines, pilot courses, and an open resource repository. WP3 trains educators through structured programmes, mentorship, virtual simulations, and certification. Dissemination through webinars, publications, and conferences will ensure broad impact, while continuous evaluation will refine methodologies and support long-term sustainability.
โถImpact
The IDT4EU project will produce IDT pedagogical frameworks, technical guidelines, pilot courses, and an open-access repository of training materials. It will establish certification for IDT proficiency, mentorship programmes, and virtual training simulations to support educators. Dissemination through conferences, publications, and webinars will promote adoption, while evaluation mechanisms will measure impact and ensure long-term integration of IDTs in European higher education.
