Objectives

-create a Program for the ZERO WASTE SCHOOLS -improve waste management in partner schools -develop new one and improve existing green skills of teachers, school staff and pupils in partner schools -raise awareness among and in partner schools as well as other educational institutions about the waste problem and ZW solutions -enrich knowledge and develop skills in partner schools and other educational institutions for practising ZW principles -expand knowledge and gain know-how for partner CSOs

Activities

- project management - working with 4 schools (ZW Program development, testing, meetings, on site visits, waste weighing, collection of data for water and energy consumption, finalizing and implementation, result analysis, education and workshops with employees and pupils, cross-referencing, know how sharing between schools and partners, mentoring and support, report for each school) - writing the sectoral ZW schools manual - promotion and dissemination of project results and manual

Impact

-effective,useful and applicable to all social groups,respecting diversity & enabling implementation for those with fewer possibilities ZW schools Program developed -4 schools (employees/pupils) actively participate in ZW schools Program development -implemented education & workshop ideas developed by participants, implemented measures -difference in the data on current & final state on resource consumption -waste generation decreased min 10% & separation rate improved (< than 10% of mix waste)
