▶Objectives
The aim of this project is to enhance youth engagement in local policy making by strengthening the capacities of at least 100 youth municipality officers and at least 100 youth council members for effective engagement of local young people in youth policy and governance, through the development of tailored digital learning tools (2 MOOCs) and through establishing an Advocacy Toolkit for further implementation of the MOOCs, within a 30-month timeframe.
▶Activities
The project will develop a localized MOOC for municipality officers in Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, and Romania, tailored to national contexts, in collaboration with municipal representatives. A complementary MOOC for youth council members will focus on their role. National residential training sessions for both MOOCs will be organized. Advocacy follow-up activities based on the Advocacy Toolkit will be carried out, and project outcomes will be presented at multiplication events for greater impact an

The project will result in: = empowered and better-equipped municipality officers (at least 100) and youth council members (at least 100) that will engage local youth effectively in policy making and governance processes = innovative digital tools to enhance youth engagement in local democracy = youth workers with new tools to support better youth participation in local contexts = a more resilient, inclusive, and digitally competent ecosystem for youth participation in local policymaking.
