CO1: Promote AI literacy to teachers through continuing professional development to achieve their digital transformation and be in sync with AI progress. CO2: Forward the use of AI tools in the classroom to help children understand their capabilities as supporting tools in the learning process. CO3: Make learning more engaging, creative and motivating through AI to improve learning outcomes CO4: Convince decision-makers of the importance of AI in education and include it in their policy Agendas
▶Activities
The project will contribute to the creation of the AI4TEACHERS MOOC, which will be a Massive Open Online Course for teachers to become AI literate and effectively use AI technology in education. The MOOC will include 6 Modules. Further, the AI4TEACHERS Handbook will be developed including ready to use cross-curriculum and by subject teaching materials using AI tools as supportive tools to the teaching and learning process. Teachers will professionally develop through a LTTA in Cyprus.
▶Impact
The AI4TEACHERS project aims to enhance AI literacy among educators, enabling them to integrate AI tools effectively in their teaching. Expected results include improved teaching strategies, increased student engagement, and a broader adoption of AI in educational policies. Teachers will gain confidence in using AI, promoting a tech-forward educational environment that is more personalized and effective for students.
