▶Objectives
The project aims to provide minority communities with C-VET opportunities in their native language in the tourism and hospitality sector, reducing their labor market disadvantages. It develops a cross-border vocational training model, tested through a pilot program, contributing to the modernization of VET, the connection of international educational institutions and programs, and the strengthening of the European Education Area.
▶Activities
The project includes a study-visit based research, training for instructors and corporate mentors, and a 920-hour pilot vocational training in Romania and Slovakia in the tourism and hospitality sector. The program integrates methodological innovations, digital elements, and work-based learning. Dissemination is reinforced through webinars and international forums to ensure the widespread adoption of results.
▶Impact
A widely adaptable cross-border C-VET model will be established, supported by a cross-border education management methodology, an openly accessible training curriculum in tourism and hospitality, and a professional glossary. A total of 50 adult learners will receive an Europass certificate and, upon passing the final exam, a Hungarian vocational qualification. 20 instructors and mentors will enhance their pedagogical competencies. The project will also strengthen education-business cooperation.
