Objectives

The GLOHA-EU project aims to enhance global health competencies among healthcare professionals across the EU by developing a comprehensive,accessible online vocational training curriculum.The project will foster cultural competence,inclusivity, and equity in healthcare,particularly for vulnerable populations. Through targeted dissemination, strategic partnerships, and continuous stakeholder engagement,GLOHA-EU seeks to ensure long-term adoption of the curriculum into European healthcare systems.

Activities

GLOHA-EU will implement key activities including the development of a multilingual online platform, creating a global health curriculum, and executing an awareness campaign. We will organise three multiplier events and thematic webinars across the EU to engage stakeholders. Partnerships will be built with EU health institutions for curriculum integration. Regular feedback will be gathered from professionals to refine content, ensuring sustainability and broad adoption across healthcare systems.

Impact

The main result of the project is to provide healthcare professionals with accessible,high-quality opportunities for professional development and continuous vocational training in global health.This will enhance their knowledge, skills, and capacity to deliver improved healthcare in a globalised society.GLOHA-EU aims to foster long-term improvements in healthcare services by ensuring healthcare workers in Europe are equipped with the competencies to address diverse health challenges effectively.
