The primary aim of the TSCI Partnership is to respond to employer skills requirements within the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs). The core objectives are to: • Address gaps in VET provision for CCIs, especially the limited focus on transversal skills • Highlight the potential of micro-credentials for recognising and certifying Transversal Skills for the CCIs • Integrate Transversal Skills programmes with vocational provision for CCIs • Enhance inclusion and diversity within CCIs
▶Activities
The main activities of the TSCI Partnership will produce will be to: • Develop and pilot sector specific Transversal Skills programmes for the CCIs • Develop innovative digital badging micro-credentials that recognise and certify transversal skills for the CCIs • Create Continuous Professional Development (CPD) modules that facilitate ‘mainstreaming’ of project results • Implement sustainability activities to ensure long-term use of project results by VET providers and employers within the CCIs
▶Impact
The key results of the TSCI Partnership will be: • Enhanced links between VET provision for the CCIs and employers in the sector • Development of VET provision that responds more effectively to employer skills needs • Improved access to employment in the CCIs for VET learners from disadvantaged backgrounds • Transversal Skills programmes and Digital Badging mechanisms developed by the TSCI partnership adopted by a minimum of 25 VET providers and recognised by at least 100 employers in the CCIs
