Objectives

The project aims to preserve Europe's intangible cultural heritage by promoting intergenerational knowledge transfer between older and younger artisans. It seeks to digitally empower older artisans, enabling their active participation in vocational education, while embedding sustainability and eco-friendly entrepreneurship practices into vocational craft training. These combined objectives aim to enhance employability, preserve traditional skills, and support sustainable growth in craft sectors.

Activities

Project activities include targeted digital literacy training specifically designed for older artisans,intergenerational mentorship workshops promoting knowledge exchange, and sustainability-focused vocational training sessions tailored to local contexts. The project also involves the development of a multilingual DigitalHeritageToolkit, local and European-level exhibitions and events, comprehensive policy advocacy through a EuropeanSummit, and dissemination via a dedicated website and socials.

Impact

Expected outcomes include enhanced digital literacy and sustainability skills for 120+ artisans and vocational trainees, with older artisans actively serving as digitally proficient mentors. Results include strengthened intergenerational collaboration, increased integration of sustainable practices in vocational education, adoption of recommended policies locally and at European levels, and establishment of lasting networks supporting sustainability and innovation in craft entrepreneurship.
