▶Objectives
EU-CARE aims to advance Cooperative Academic Resilience (CAR) between EU and Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions by equipping students, faculty, leaders, and policymakers with practical tools, training, and cooperation mechanisms. It seeks to embed resilience into institutional processes, foster multi-level partnerships, and support Ukraine’s integration into the European Education Area (EEA) through sustainable cooperation.
▶Activities
EU-CARE will deliver 1 mapping exercise report, 4 comprehensive trainings, 4 open-access curricula, 6 living labs, and 3 design workshops, all focused on fostering cooperative academic resilience. A peer-mentoring scheme will support university leaders, while policy briefs, a handbook, a podcast series, and a webinar will disseminate results. The project also establishes NEIRU, a permanent network for resilient universities to ensure lasting cooperation.
▶Impact
EU-CARE’s results include a state of the art mapping report on academic resilience, 4 open-access training curricula, 4 online trainings, 1 implementation guide, 6 living lab transfer reports, 3 co-created cooperation tools, and a peer-mentoring report. Dissemination results include 2 large-scale events, 4 policy briefs, an online handbook, a podcast series, a webinar, and the creation of NEIRU, a permanent network for resilient universities.
