Objectives

The School of Emotions empowers 30 young people from Iceland, Italy, and Norway, enhancing emotional intelligence, creativity, and civic engagement. Through workshops, artistic expression, and cross-cultural collaboration, participants develop leadership, activism, agency and self-expression skills. Their work will be showcased at local mini-festivals and the European Festival of Young Emotions in Reykjavík, fostering youth agency, intercultural dialogue, and lasting community impact.

Activities

The School of Emotions will run in Iceland, Italy, and Norway, engaging youth in workshops, creative sessions, and mentorship on emotional intelligence, self-expression, and civic engagement. Participants will organize mini-festivals in each country, culminating in the European Festival of Young Emotions in Reykjavík. Activities include artistic performances, discussions, and cross-cultural exchanges, fostering youth leadership and public engagement.

Impact

The School of Emotions will enhance emotional intelligence, creative expression, and civic engagement among youth in three European countries. Outcomes include youth-led artistic projects, showcased at mini-festivals and the European Festival of Young Emotions, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and social activism. The project will produce a publication and report, refining youth-centered methodologies on emotions, misrepresentation, and art, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.
