▶Objectives
The Happiness project aims to improve the well-being and happiness of adults between the ages of 35-60, especially marginalized or vulnerable situations, who have the lowest levels of life satisfaction and the highest levels of anxiety. Looking after your emotional well-being is just as important as caring for your physical health. By actively nurturing wellness,we’re better able to handle life’s challenges and bounce back when stressed and things happen.
▶Activities
Happiness combines positive psychology technics and laughter yog, to promote well-being and happiness among adults. The specific activities are: • 2 international training for 24 adults between the ages of 35-60, especially marginalized or vulnerable situations, • 3 Empathy Circles • 3 Happiness local workshops • 1 Happiness Community of practice • 1 Happiness Toolkit • Design strategy for Communication and Dissemination
▶Impact
We can learn that happiness is a skill that can be learned through practices, and habits of thinking that help to boost and build our resilience. So although life may have unexpected twists and turns, we can develop skillsets and nurture internal and external resources to help us respond flexibly, effectively deal with challenges, recover more quickly, and create a desirable future.
