How can we equip women with the skills they need to advance in their personal growth? How can we ensure their inclusion in social and cultural narratives? The project aims to create a pathway for the social and economic integration of disadvantaged women by equipping them with basic and life key skills, including those in the growing subtitling industry, while contributing to diversity and cultural inclusion.

The project will implement 15 workshops in blended mode for Italian and Greek women from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds, as well as Farsi-speaking migrant women. These workshops will provide high-quality training in audiovisual subtitling, combining theoretical and practical components to enhance their technical skills and digital literacy. Additionally, two multiplier events will be organised in Italy and Greece to strengthen networks for participants.

As a direct result of the project, we expect increased capacity building of 6 adult trainers to be able to collect support material, design the contents and training approach, deliver the 15 workshops; at least 20 participants in the training path, 2 European films subtitled and screened, organise two multiplier events with at least 40 participants each - local partners, stakeholders, film industry professional, women participants and 1 policy paper with recommendation.
