▶Objectives
The project aims to validate, systematize, and disseminate the CARE relational model for disability, enhancing the skills of social-educational operators, fostering the active involvement of families and communities, and testing the model in different contexts. The objective is to create a European Manual on the Relational Model, promote training, and build a European network of best practices for the social, educational, and professional inclusion of people with disabilities.
▶Activities
The activities include: exchange of best practices and analysis of European models; training and webinars with experts for operators, families, and stakeholders; field testing with the mobility of people with disabilities between Italy and Spain. Additionally, in-person and online workshops will be held, an operational manual on the CARE model will be developed, and dissemination strategies will be implemented to spread the results and engage European partners interested in collaborating within
▶Impact
The project will produce a European manual on the CARE model, enhance the skills of at least 30 operators, and engage approximately 40 people with disabilities and 20 families in training and experimental activities. A EU network of stakeholders will be created, and practical tools will be disseminated to improve the social, educational, and professional inclusion of people with disabilities. The long-term impact will support the adoption of the CARE model in socioeducational services across EU.
