VIATICUM 2 builds on the original initiative by enhancing volunteer emergency response training, integrating technology and fostering transnational cooperation. It expands EU Volunteer Rescuers Manual with five new chapters, develops a Pocket Rescue Manual for quick emergency reference, and integrates VR into USAR training. The project also promotes volunteer engagement, raises awareness, and strengthens international partnerships among EU rescue organizations for improved knowledge exchange.

1) Training Modules & Resources: Expanding the Rescue Techniques for Emergency Response manual, integrating VR-based high-risk rescue training, and creating a multilingual Pocket Rescue Manual. 2) Field Training & Simulations: Conducting live K9, diver, and cave rescue exercises, plus VR-enhanced disaster simulations. 3) Public Awareness: Organizing community events and workshops. 4) International Collaboration: Hosting transnational meetings and partnering with institutions.
