NeCoWo aims to exploit the potential of city neighborhoods as an ideal setting for implementing local engagement initiatives and educational practices with and for vulnerable adults. Specific objectives are: - activate participation and empowerment at grass-root level by involving fragile adults in local actions and neighborhoods projects; - reinforce the role and improve the competences of community workers and adult educators of the partners; - upgrade the expertise in the field of adult

To reach these objectives the partners will: - Train community workers in new skills and competencies based on a neighborhood approach and use local resources to create opportunity for the engagement and participation of fragile adults; - Test the use of community and civic spaces with fragile adults; - Activate local advocacy and networking processes through participatory labs and co-creation of territorial pacts; -Organise 5 community events and one international conference

During 30 months the partners will produce the following results and outcomes: - A Report on neighbourhood-based skills and competencies for community workers; - A Curriculum to support their work locally and reinforce their competences and skills; - 5 neighbourhood-projects co-created with fragile adults to support their participation in local communities; - Test the use of neighbourhood centres/hubs by the community; - 5 participatory labs with local stakeholders to establish territorial pacts
