โถObjectives
We aim to foster friendships and camaraderie between youths of diverse cultural backgrounds, generate a creative community of learning and co-creation between them in which knowledge and skills in social communication and media production are acquired and acknowledged, foster social inclusion of young migrants within diaspora communities for a greater sense of belonging and empowerment and share an Informal Learning Strategy and Structured Mentoring for capacity building and future upscaling.
โถActivities
We will form 5 groups of 55+ youths including 25+ with Ethiopian migration backgrounds, 12 leaders and 6+ experts in media, social communication and ethnography to train them remotely and in presence in a training in Rome and mentor the youths as they: engage with local Ethiopian diaspora in the creation of a cultural calendar and a Collective Memory Exhibition and co-create video projects featuring the calendar that are premiered in 5 public events in Malta, Rome, Brussels, Bordeaux and Vienna.

Results include a better understanding between diverse cultural communities, promoting social cohesion and reduction of intercultural indifference, effective collaboration and higher socio emotional and intercultural literacy in all participants, personal and professional learning and higher employability for youths through civic engagement, intergenerational bonds within diaspora communities and a greater sense of identity and belonging and improved and augmented services in the youth sector.
