▶Objectives
The SPARK project aims to empower youth workers and foster youth participation in peripheral and underserved areas by providing structured training, participatory tools, and collaboration with local authorities. It seeks to equip at least 40 youth workers with innovative methodologies, engage 150 young people in youth-led initiatives, and support 15 institutions in embedding participatory governance models. ▶Activities
SPARK will implement youth worker training, youth-led action projects, and institutional collaboration to strengthen participation. Activities include capacity-building workshops, pilot projects in 6 communities, development of participatory tools, and digital engagement strategies. The project will also host study visits, regional/national events, and policy dialogues to embed youth participation into governance, ensuring long-term impact and replication across Europe.
▶Impact
SPARK will deliver a validated Youth Participation Framework, structured training for 40 youth workers, 6 youth-led action projects, and participatory tools (a game and self-reflection tools). It will engage 8 institutions in adopting participatory governance models and reach 150 young people. The project ensures long-term impact through policy recommendations, regional/national dissemination, and open-access digital resources, fostering scalable, sustainable youth participation across Europe.
