▶Objectives
The main objectives of the project are: to enhance quality and innovation in the youth sector by developing a new socio-educational intervention method and recognizing non-formal and informal learning in outdoor contexts (e.g., mountains). This aligns with European priorities, including the Bonn Declaration (2020), to support the inclusion and to promote active participation of at-risk and/or deviant youth through volunteering, non-formal education, and reparative activities.
▶Activities
The project will develop training materials for blended and multilingual learning (WP2.2), create a framework for validating skills in formal and informal learning (WP2.3), and conduct training activities (WP2.4). It will also execute pilot actions for outdoor education in mountain contexts, both nationally and through European mobility (WP3.2, WP3.3). Lastly, the project will create guidelines for replicating activities (WP3.4) and a master class to train local youth workers.
▶Impact
The project expects to achieve increased quality and innovation in youth work, particularly in outdoor contexts. It aims to improve the validation and recognition of non-formal and informal learning, empower trainers with enhanced skills, and expand a network of local operators to ensure sustainability. Additionally, the project aims to successfully integrate at-risk youth into volunteering and reparative activities, fostering greater social inclusion.
