▶Objectives
Urbex for Youth aims to: - stimulate a reflection on urban spaces and their use by young people and on the phenomena of transformation of cities; - create occasions/opportunities for connection with urban space to develop civic activism in young people; - promote exchange at European level between young people and educators through the creation of an educational methodology and the implementation of practices of use and reappropriation of urban spaces.
▶Activities
The activities of Urbex for Youth include: - Urbex-days awareness-raising meetings on the topic of urban space for young people; - 1 training for youth workers on the Urbex methodology; - 4 Urbex-Labs, educational laboratories of urban exploration; - 4 international mobilities among young people who develop local practices; - 4 local actions of experimentation of the use of urban spaces; - 4 dissemination events to tell the actions carried out by the young people.
▶Impact
The results of Urbex include: - an educational methodology on the analysis, exploration and experimentation of the use of urban spaces by young people; - over 400 educators, teachers and young people who participate in the Urbex days or other educational activities carried out; - 4 practices of activism and active citizenship carried out by young people at risk of exclusion in 4 European cities; - a publication on the practices carried out by the young people
