SustainMobility aims to contribute to the following objectives: - Enhancing the sustainability of Erasmus+ by decreasing the carbon footprint of the mobility projects; - Raise awareness about the ecological footprint of Erasmus+ to encourage organizations to strive towards a more sustainable project planning; - Advocating to institutions for a structural acquisition of tools and suggestions to encourage and support beneficiaries to implement a more sustainable way of planning mobilities.
▶Activities
- Research among beneficiaries of mobility projects to gather good practices, critical issues and obstacles faced to improve sustainability - Development of a platform to calculate and reduce Carbon Footprint of projects - Creation of a connected Handbook - Pilot mobilities to test and improve the outputs - Dissemination events to promote the use of the outputs among beneficiaries - Create a recommendation policy and a final event to reach stakeholders and enhance sustainability within Erasmus+

1- An handbook containing good practices to reduce Environmental Impact of Mobility Projects 2- A platform with web application able to calculate carbon footprint of a mobility project and guiding beneficiaries to add/change practices showing their impact on the reduction of the overall environmental impact 3- A policy recommendation paper to support the advocacy for enhancing sustainability of Erasmus+ mobilities 4- Raised awareness on sustainability for young people/youth workers/organisations
