▶Objectives
The overarching objective of the project is to promote understanding of European values in Europe. Derived from this, the creation and long-term provision of an up-to-date, comprehensible, multilingual and didactically edited tool for communicating European values will be pursued in the project. Thanks to targeted dissemination, project organizations in the Erasmus+ programme and the Erasmus+ National Agencies in Europe in particular will be informed.
▶Activities
The European Values Trail of the Europa-Union Bayern e.V., which was implemented in 2021, serves as the basis for presenting European values in an understandable way. The content will be updated to take account of political developments in Europe and worldwide in recent years. This information basis is translated into English and French. The proofreading guarantees the harmonization of the linguistic, semantic and conceptual application by the European Commission.
▶Impact
As a result, a tool for communicating European values in the form of the European Values Trail will be available for free use in German, English and French. Dissemination activities will include two multiplier events and a broad information campaign aimed at Erasmus+ project organizations and Erasmus+ National Agencies via the EPALE platform. This campaign will also facilitate understanding of European values worldwide.
