Creative Landscapes aims to create local learning hubs in Sasso Marconi (IT) and Švenčionėliai (LIT) by integrating artistic and educational practices to foster intergenerational exchange, regional development, and ecological awareness in rural areas. Through participatory methodologies, it strengthens sustainable cultural models, enhances environmental education and expands access to creative initiatives. The project aims to pilot a replicable model for long-term impact and inclusive engagement
▶Activities
Besides project management, communication, and dissemination activities, the project includes training sessions on sustainable cultural practices and community-based education, an artistic development program for one Italian and one Lithuanian artist featuring a series of co-designed workshops and events with local communities, the Terrapolis Festival, a radio podcast, the publication of the Toolkit for Transformative Learning: Art, Ecology & Community, and the production of a short documentary.
▶Impact
The project develops a replicable model for adult learning in rural areas by integrating art, ecology and participatory education. It equips cultural workers with tools for decentralized learning, expands access to artistic and ecological learning for underserved communities, and fosters intergenerational exchange. Embedding green skills into artistic programs enhances environmental awareness and ensures long-term impact through practical learning frameworks and community-driven initiatives.
