Objectives

Involvement of beneficiaries in decision-making processes is key aspect of high-quality social services. While professionals recognize its importance, they often lack concrete ideas and struggle to apply inclusion strategies due to the absence of clear, step-by-step guidance. The project aims to enhance social service staff’s knowledge of effective methods and best practices for involving beneficiaries in decision-making processes.

Activities

To achieve the project objectives, activities will include monthly management team meetings, study visits to partner organizations, online training provided to social service organizations' staff, the development of a step-by-step guide with recommendations, in a collection of case studies on best practices in inclusion in decision-making, and dissemination events to share project results.

Impact

To enhance the knowledge of the target group organizations, a step-by-step guide with a set of recommendations outlining methods and tools to ensure service users‘ involvement in decision-making processes will be developed and the online training will be organized. Also a collection of case studies on best practices from target group organizations will be compiled to inspire organizations to try new approaches in their daily work.
