▶Objectives
The “Respect & Connect” project is responding to the needs of partner schools to create and maintain safe and supportive environment for pupils’ emotional and socio-emotional development: - to increase teachers’ competencies in fostering NVC and open dialogue in their classes by 20 %; - to raise pupils' and parents' awareness and understanding of NVC by 20%; - to build the capacities of schools to create empathic and respectful relationships in their communities - reduce bullying by 30%.
▶Activities
To achieve project objectives various local and transnational activities will be implemented: 2 experience exchange visits (5 day 10 persons), 2 local teacher trainings (1 day 20 persons), development of NVC guidelines and integration of NVC practices and methods into school life (workshops, revision on class plans and practices, evaluation forms, new traditions, etc.), 2 disseminational NVC forums (1 day 50 persons), project management activities.
▶Impact
- strengthened NVC competencies and abilities of teachers to foster safe and supportive culture for pupils to thrive; - raised NVC awareness among pupils, parents and other community members to strengthen interpersonal values leading to stronger communities with closer relationships amongst each other; - transnational cooperation capacities of schools for further and wider collaborations to increase quality in their work and practices.
