โ–ถObjectives

VIRTLE aims to enhance law enforcement readiness against evolving security threats and geopolitical challenges, including the war in Ukraine, by developing and implementing immersive VR training scenarios and integrating VR into training. The project will improve officers' tactical awareness, decision-making, and crisis response through realistic, risk-free simulations of conflict scenarios, aligning with the EU's vision for resilient and digitally integrated training.

โ–ถActivities

VIRTLE will develop three VR training scenarios (Tactical Medicine, Officer Communication, Tactical Actions) with methodological tools in LT, LV, and PL. These scenarios will be adapted to training software and integrated into VR technologies. Pilot training will be conducted and evaluated. Dissemination activities will include Train-the-trainer sessions equip instructors for VR-based training delivery and final international conference to share results and best practices throughout the EU.

โ–ถImpact

VIRTLE will enhance EU law enforcement training using immersive VR technology to enhance officers' tactical and decision-making skills in response to evolving security threats. The project will develop and implement realistic VR scenarios addressing diverse operational challenges, fostering cross-border cooperation and a continuous learning culture. This creates a more effective and sustainable training model adaptable within the EU.
