▶Objectives
Our project empowers disadvantaged adult learners in Latvia and Poland—especially those from rural areas and migration backgrounds—by equipping them with futures literacy (FL), a vital 21st-century skill. FL helps learners navigate uncertainty, explore future possibilities, and make informed decisions, preparing them to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We will equip educators with tools to create tailored FL scenarios, and promote networking among educators from Latvia, Poland, and Norway.
▶Activities
We will implement hybrid Train the Trainers workshops for educators and FL workshops for 200 adult learners. These activities will equip local educators with the tools to independently deliver FL training, while also providing direct, hands-on FL training for adult learners in rural and migrant communities. Our experienced Latvian-Polish-Norwegian partnership guarantees the highest educational standards and cultural relevance.
▶Impact
The project offers disadvantaged groups access to innovative educational approaches, enhancing critical thinking and empowering them as informed members of society. Educators will expand their skills to better support learners in navigating uncertainty. Both practitioners and learners will gain valuable insights into FL promotion, including a review of FL's practical applications across sectors and a beginner-friendly guide to using FL tools.
