SYQF aims to establish a comprehensive and industry-aligned qualification framework that enhances VET in the superyacht industry. It seeks to standardise qualifications, improve workforce mobility, integrate sustainability practices, and promote inclusivity within the sector. By developing structured training pathways, fostering collaboration between education providers and industry stakeholders, and securing accreditation, the project ensures a qualified, adaptable, and future-ready workforce.
▶Activities
The project develop a SY Qualification Framework by conducting industry research on existing training programs, and defining standardised qualifications. It creates training modules on sustainability, and inclusion, and validating them through industry consultations. Educators and course developers will be trained to integrate the framework, and an online repository will be established to ensure accessibility. Application for the accreditation to MQF will be submitted.
