APHIA is an initiative designed to create an inclusive HR experience for individuals with autism (IwA). Its primary objectives are to increase awareness of autism, address unconscious bias within the workplace, and provide the necessary tools to support HR professionals. It seeks to facilitate social and physical environmental adjustments in the workplace to accommodate IwA effectively. One of its fundamental principles is the active involvement of IwA in the planning and implementation process.
▶Activities
APHIA will leverage primary and secondary research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape in partner countries. Throughout the project's duration, the consortium will facilitate workshops and webinars to actively involve all stakeholders in shaping the project's procedures and training materials. Ultimately, the project aims to develop a training program and comprehensive guidelines, catering to a wider audience.
