▶Objectives
The ‘Food Bosses’ project focuses on setting up a project week to raise awareness among primary school children (aged 7 to 12) about healthy, local and responsible food choices. During this week, pupils learn to make conscious choices about their diet and discover the impact of food production on their health and the environment. The project week ends with a hackathon, in which pupils work together to develop ideas to promote healthy eating and sustainable initiatives within their schools.

1 Develop Introductory workshops: 4 workshops on sustainable food for group 4/5/6. 2 Try-out Workshops: Testing with 160 pupils. 3 Evaluation and Review: Collect feedback and improve workshops. 4 Develop Lesson Plans & Hackathons: Theory and practical cooking lessons. 5 Try-out Project Weeks & Hackathons: Testing with 120 students/6 teachers. 6 Evaluate Lesson Plans & Hackathons: Collect feedback and improve lessons. 7. large-scale Try-out: Testing with 280 students/10 teachers.

Development: Interactive workshops, lesson plans and teacher guides on sustainable food. Pupils: 120 pupils: introductory workshops (theory & cooking skills). 280 pupils: project weeks and hackathons (theory, cooking skills & action). Teachers: 16 teachers: training supervision of project week & sustainability education Impact: promotes children's knowledge and skills for making sustainable choices and healthy eating habits.
