The project aims to align the development of soft skills with sector needs, enhancing veterinary nurses’ readiness for the job market and improving work-based learning quality. By focusing on resilience and well-being, it supports sustainable employability, inclusion, and mental health, reducing dropout rates and fostering inclusive, diverse learning environments. This empowers veterinary nurses to succeed in their careers, engage civically, and contribute positively to society.

Preparation and Research Phase: Identifying industry needs for sustainable employability, soft skills development of students, and support for teachers and coaches. Development Phase: Making best practices and teaching materials for softskills development accessible via a digital platform. Introduction Phase: Disseminating results to educational teams and stakeholders to enhance employability, align with sector needs and reduce/prevent dropout rates.

The project will result in enhanced alignment between veterinary education and sector needs, focusing on soft skills like resilience.
