VOICES_EU empowers people with disabilities to set up impactful awareness-raising campaigns and successfully advocate for their interests to other stakeholders. People with disabilities self-reported are more often women or older people, more frequently have lower incomes and educational levels, and have had, therefore, fewer opportunities in life to build self-respect and to learn to express their interests effectively. VOICES_EU want to provide inclusive and accessible learning materials.

With people with disabilities, VOICES_EU will collect good practices of awareness-raising and advocacy and build a fully inclusive and accessible learning toolkit. Interactive guidance and training materials will be co-designed and validated by people with disabilities, ensuring that the learning materials are entirely equipped for them. Additionally, we will engage persons with disabilities and stakeholders in education, sports, and employment as ambassadors of VOICES_EU.

VOICES_EU will deliver an online and printable fully inclusive and accessible toolkit with awareness-raising and advocacy tools that people with disabilities can use to set up effective campaigns to have their voices heard in Europe. With VOICES_EU, we aim to take at least one step further towards a society where people with disabilities can fully participate and are respected.
