โ–ถObjectives

Our goal is to address the educational needs of older adults and educators regarding intimacy and sexuality in later life, thereby fostering a more inclusive understanding of later-life sexuality and sexual rights and challenging age-related sexual discrimination. Our approach is based on integration of participatory and arts-based methodologies. It engages older adults in equitable transformative learning contributing to a sustainable positive reimagining of ageing across the EU and globally.

โ–ถActivities

Six consortium partners engage in mutual learning during transnational workshops to produce a pilot learning; it is tested in 3 countries with groups of adult learners and subsequently evaluated and adjusted accordingly. The pilot is accompanied by blended training for educators and member-checked by the end-users. The final set of educational resources for adult learners and educators is produced collaboratively, digitalised and disseminated broadly at local, national and transnational levels.

โ–ถImpact

The project results in a set of educational resources in four languages: (i) a life-stage-specific and culture-sensitive learning pathway in blended forms on intimacy and sexuality in later life; (ii) a teaching guide for adult education providers on using participatory and arts-based teaching methods; (iii) blended train-the-trainer materials for new (artistic) adult education providers; (iv) a tangible presentation of artistic works by older learners as educational and dissemination material.
