Objectives

This project will serve as a pioneering model for integrating advanced AI, including LLMs and AI agents, into water emergency management and environmental education. It will create high-quality training modules on flood and drought forecasting as well as water management, deployed across three universities in different countries and via an internationally accessible virtual course. The innovative use of LLMs and AI agents will guide learners in effectively utilizing machine learning models.

Activities

This project will serve as a pioneering model for integrating advanced AI, including LLMs and AI agents, into water emergency management and environmental education. It will create high-quality training modules on flood and drought forecasting as well as water management, deployed across three universities in different countries and via an internationally accessible virtual course. The innovative use of LLMs and AI agents will guide learners in effectively utilizing machine learning models.

Impact

This project will deliver a comprehensive toolbox of state‐of‐the‐art machine learning models for water resources, integrated into environmental education at three major international academic institutions. It will also develop AI-integrated teaching assistants to simplify complex concepts, enhance training capabilities, and support rigorous evaluation and quality assurance processes. These outputs will be incorporated into curricula—ensuring ongoing assessmen and continuous improvement.
