Objectives

The project aims to achieve inclusion and diversity for disadvantaged students by creating a self-awareness and guidance tool. This tool will support students with reading and writing challenges, promoting social inclusion, integration, and European values. Additionally, it will help minimize school failures and early school leaving. Teachers and trainers will share best practices, improve teaching approaches, and enhance foreign language skills, ultimately benefiting both students and educators

Activities

Lesson Study cycle: the Norwegian lessons will be evaluated and improved to form the basis of the Bulgarian lessons. The Bulgarian lessons will be evaluated and improved to form the basis of the final lessons in Italy. A visual tool that requires little literacy skills will be developed based on the results from the entire Lesson Study cycle. The tool will be tested by students from the 3 countries in the final activity in Norway. It will be free and published in an online edition and on paper.

Impact

The tangible results will include a guidance tool based on Holland’s types,1 lesson study cycle with 6 lesson plans and reports exploring students' strengths, interests, and coping strategies,4 focus groups with teachers from different countries, and related reports. We will also create a project booklet,1 radio interview, 1 multiplier event, and teacher courses. The intangible results will be improved self-awareness, enhanced teaching methods, collaboration, and inclusive education practices.
