▶Objectives
Our objective is to develop, test, implement an innovative, research-informed training program to equip hair and beauty students in VET with the knowledge and skills to be able to handle signs of psychological distress in their clients, listen and respond appropriately at the same time as they learn how to take care of their own mental health. They will not be trained as mental health facilitators, but rather be equipped to recognize, respond refer, and listen appropriately.
