▶Objectives
Foster cultural integration by bringing together individuals from diverse nations, enhancing intercultural knowledge about Vikings across time and space. Offer young people an international experience in a multilingual and multicultural setting. Re-discover a rich and diverse Europe by delving into various aspects of the Viking era and its relevance in the present day. Develop and refine group-work and cooperation skills by distributing tasks and responsibilities through theater performance.
▶Activities
The project is a 24-month journey. It involves monthly administrative routines, youth mobilization, theater training workshops, development of social media, historical lessons on Vikings, the production of a movie "Making Of" made by the participating youth. Each organization will engage 6 youth for the performing aspect, and 6 participants for the movie, and 2 youth workers in weekly activities and participate in transnational meetings across Ireland, Poland, Estonia, and Norway.
▶Impact
A public theater performance in each participating country, adjusted to their "Viking Heritage". A movie “the making of” using footage collected by the participating youth during the project. An "online watch party" simultaneously in each participating country open to the public and freely accessible online, showcasing the "Making Of" A social media profile, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, to document and share.
