We aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of civic education in community centers in Kraków and Genoa. Our goal is to support educators and volunteers in better engaging adults at risk of exclusion—migrants, seniors, people with economical problems and neurodivergent individuals. We also seek to exchange experiences between organizations and strengthen cooperation with local governments to increase the stability of community centers and help build more active local communities.

We will conduct training sessions for educators on graphic facilitation methods and cooperation with local authorities. We will develop and test a toolbox for civic education activities, with a particular focus on people experiencing exclusion. The Toolbox will also include a model for effective cooperation with local authorities, which in the long term can strengthen the work of the community centres.

Educators will acquire new skills in graphic facilitation and community working methods, making civic education more accessible for groups with fewer opportunities and also gain the knowledge about cooperation with local governments. The Toolbox will be a practical resource for teaching civic participation in an inclusive way. Residents will gain knowledge about their rights and ways to influence local decision-making. The results will be shared with NGO and local authorities.
