▶Objectives
SmartVET aims to modernize vocational education by integrating Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, IoT, and PLC programming, into training curricula. The project will enhance digital competencies for both teachers and students, strengthen collaboration between vocational education and industry, and create practical learning modules that can be adopted widely to improve employability and technical expertise.
▶Activities
The project will include two Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activities focusing on automation, IoT, and smart manufacturing. Additionally, teacher training, local workshops, and multiplier events will ensure effective knowledge transfer. Transnational meetings will be held to evaluate progress, and SmartVET’s digital learning modules will be developed and shared through Erasmus+ platforms for long-term impact.
▶Impact
SmartVET will deliver practical training modules on automation and digital manufacturing, enhance teacher expertise, and increase students’ employability by equipping them with critical Industry 4.0 skills. The project will foster strong industry-education collaboration and provide open-access educational resources to ensure sustainability and long-term benefits for vocational education institutions across Europe.
