DEFENDERS aims to enhance cybersecurity education in vocational training by focusing on: -Cybersecurity fundamentals – Equipping VET students with a strong foundation. -Network security skills – Strengthening digital infrastructure protection. -Digital asset protection – Teaching secure safeguarding techniques. -Cyber awareness culture – Instilling responsible digital behavior. -Alignment with VET innovation – Modernizing curriculum content to tackle emerging cyber threats.

The project will carry out various activities, including: -Kick-off meeting -Development of a six-module cybersecurity curriculum -Transnational training for VET instructors -Creation of an educational platform -Training VET staff for a cybersecurity hackathon -VET student hackathon -Project meetings and InfoDays -Impact and dissemination efforts

The project is expected to achieve: -Enhanced cybersecurity knowledge – Improving VET students' and staff's expertise. -A lasting cybersecurity culture – Encouraging continuous awareness and best practices. -Stronger community impact – Strengthening cybersecurity skills within the VET sector. -Practical application of knowledge – Ensuring real-world relevance beyond the project's timeframe.
