▶Objectives
MW would like to develop a model of cooperation between cultural institutions and other organizations for the integrated education of adults with migrant experience. To this aim, MW will carry out 4 experimental participatory projects with its partners to test the developed proposal in practice. As an institution that systematically builds international audiences, especially those at risk of exclusion, MW is keen to be a platform for intercultural mediation and a place for community inclusion.
▶Activities
To learn about needs of people with migrant experience, we will organise an Art Camp, which will also give them the opportunity to develop key competences and mediation skills through creative activities. We will create 4 participatory projects in which migrants will carry out artistic activities. Through a series of 12 workshops they will present the results of the activities to the local community. On the basis of evaluation and observation, we will develop a model and describe it in manual.
▶Impact
Tangible: 1 manual for cultural institutions describing a model of participatory project work with people with migrant experience, 4 outputs of 4 participatory projects presented to the general public in cultural institutions. Intangible: development of key competences and sense of empowerment in people with migrant experience (measured by 'Can do statements) and establishment of cooperation of migrants from different European countries on a common, valuable, public and measurable goal.
