▶Objectives
The SHAPE project promotes active aging through an agile educational approach, developing digital, intercultural, and civic competencies of seniors. It aims to enhance trainers' ability to use flexible teaching methods, strengthen seniors' digital skills, and increase their engagement in civic life. By developing innovative methodologies and open-access resources, the project supports inclusive, participatory learning environments across Europe.
▶Activities
SHAPE includes international workshops, LTTA training, pilot implementations, and the creation of educational resources. Activities include the development of lesson plans in digital, civic, and intercultural education, an open digital repository, and a Guide for Trainers. Pilots will be conducted in four countries to refine methodologies. Dissemination efforts will ensure broad access to materials, with multiplier events and a final conference in Romania.
▶Impact
The project will produce a comprehensive Guide for trainers "Agile approaches in senior education", a digital repository with multilingual learning materials, and tested lesson plans in key educational areas. At least 120 seniors and 12 educators will directly engage in pilot workshops, with over 1000 stakeholders accessing online resources. Long-term benefits include increased digital inclusion, civic participation, and sustainable integration of agile methods in senior education.
