▶Objectives
Aims to recognize interculturality as a central element of universities by raising awareness of diversity, strengthening intercultural activities, and promoting diverse teaching practices. Objectives include building capacities in partner institutions, conducting pilot activities for underrepresented students, co-creating intercultural programs and policies, disseminating methodologies to other institutions, and creating an educational community with intercultural skills and inclusive spaces.
▶Activities
The project establishes an Online Intercultural Training Academy for university leaders, faculty, and staff, a cross-assessment of intercultural policies and global series of webinars on interculturalism. Three pilot activities focus on the Beyond Borders pilot programs, featuring one-week events on multicultural practices and programs at each university. The project also includes an interculturality Conference in Greece, a testimonial micro-documentary series and a social media campaign.
▶Impact
The project will enhance intercultural skills and collaboration in HEI, fostering inclusivity and informed policymaking. Key outcomes include a Kick-off event, an Online Academy, 3 pilot programs to boost and work towards interculturality and virtual conferences to connect with a broader community. The co-creation of intercultural programs, a toolbox for HEIs and peer validation will refine initiatives. A closing ceremony and a micro-documentary series will globally showcase achievements.
