The SmartExplorer project aims to enhance STEM and digital skills among students and teachers by integrating space exploration into the curriculum. It promotes interdisciplinary learning, hands-on activities, and problem-solving, fostering scientific literacy and teamwork. The project provides teachers with innovative educational tools and methodologies, inspiring students to pursue further studies in STEM-related fields.
▶Activities
It will reach more than 6500 teachers and educators in the European Union countries with workshops and seminars, publications and dissemination actions on conferences. Tests in schools are the key element - teachers will implement the project materials during lessons, assessing their effectiveness and suitability for students' needs.
▶Impact
The project will produce a complete educational package with teaching materials, lesson plans, interactive simulations, and assessment tools. It will be available in English, with translations into Polish and Greek. The key outcomes of the project encompass the enhancement of STEM competencies among students, the improvement of teachers' digital skills and the application of modern teaching methods, as well as the promotion of innovative educational solutions across Europe.
