The IBAS project aims to modernize VET education by equipping learners and SMEs with practical business analytics skills, supporting digital transformation, and fostering stronger industry-VET collaboration. By developing a structured curriculum, digital learning tools, and work-based training, IBAS enhances SME competitiveness, increases employability, and ensures long-term integration of business analytics into VET programs across Europe.
▶Activities
The IBAS project will implement curriculum development, digital learning, and industry collaboration activities. It includes creating a modular business analytics curriculum, developing a digital learning hub with Open Educational Resources (OERs), conducting pilot training and certification, and establishing work-based learning models. Additionally, IBAS will organize SME training sessions, industry networking events, and policy advocacy efforts to ensure long-term sustainability and impact.
▶Impact
The IBAS project will deliver a competency-based business analytics curriculum, a digital learning hub with OERs, and a certification framework aligned with ECVET/EQF. It will result in trained VET learners and SME employees, increased SME adoption of data-driven decision-making, and strengthened industry-VET collaboration. Additionally, IBAS will ensure policy integration, sustainability, and long-term access to training materials for continuous workforce development.
