▶Objectives
The project aims to improve the work of Protected Areas’ staff & VET providers targeting them by developing a training offer in Heritage Interpretation, to improve visitor experience & foster sustainable behavior:1.Increase competences of PA professionals in HI developing the NT training programme.2.Support the work of VET providers with a replicable training methodology.3.Support the work of PA staff on HI with an open e-Learning platform.4.To raise awareness on HI’s impact on sustainability.
▶Activities
We will: - Develop a blended NatureTalks (NT) training program for protected areas professionals, integrating online and work- based learning. - Test and validate the new training programme with protected areas professionals. - Create an open-access NT e-Learning platform on heritage interpretation. - Promote and raise awareness on Heritage Interpretation (HI) as sustainability practice and its impact on sustainable behavior, tourism, and development.
