Objectives

The VIOLET project enhances the I/EWE Qualification in welding through modular VET approaches. It develops online training and virtual tools for the updated European/International Welding Engineers Qualification, innovating VET systems. Engaging with industrial networks, VIOLET elevates I/EWE training quality, reducing costs for VET providers. This enhances accessibility, flexibility, and overall attractiveness of VET in the welding sector.

Activities

To monitor the Welding Qualified Professionals activity, VIOLET will: develop a sectoral report on development on I/EWE needs and training scope; develop e-learning materials, assessments and XR use cases for I/EWE; define recommendations for the use of VR/AR; conduct national events.

Impact

- Training material and trainer’s toolkit - Database of questions for theoretical questions - Practical scenarios for XR tools - XR simulation tools for practical training - National pilots to implement e-learning tools and XR use cases - Trainers’ capacity building - Comparative Report between learning strategies - National seminars - Pilots Common Roundtable - Recommendations guidelines for the use of VR/AR - Engagement events and materials
